Khana Badosh: Chef’s Table Series

Khana Badosh is an Urdu phrase that means vagabond or wanderer; one who does not have a permanent home and is always in the search of something unknown. Khana-ba-dosh has Persian origins (‘Khana’ = Home, ‘Dosh’ = Shoulder) and means “one who carries their home on their shoulders”.

Gathering at the Hearth

An intimate exploration of shared histories gathered around the fire. Each charred ingredient tells a story of resilient culinary migration and the deep, carry-forward taste of home.

Table as Testimony

The dinner table becomes a living archive, where heirloom recipes and contemporary narratives meet. Here, guests shared a meal as an act of solidarity and remembrance.

The final gathering: a medley of heritage flavors where every shared plate serves as an intimate tribute to the resilience of our culinary traditions and the memories we carry forward.
