The Migratory Plate began as my attempt to answer a quiet but persistent feeling: what does it mean to belong when your identity is shaped across places, cultures, and constant movement?
What started as intimate dinners in Dallas has grown into a series of carefully curated supper clubs and culinary collaborations designed for a new kind of audience: globally-minded, diasporic individuals seeking connection, creativity, and cultural depth in the cities they now call home.
At its core, The Migratory Plate explores migration through food. Each menu is built from research, lived experience, and encounters across countries: from street vendors in mombasa and home kitchens in Amman to conversations with migrant communities in texas. Dishes are not just composed for taste, but for what they carry: memory, adaptation, preservation, and reinvention.
The Khana Badosh Chef’s Table is where this work comes to life. Over the course of an evening, guests move through a multi-course experience that reflects shifting geographies and seasons, designed to feel both familiar and unexpected. The table is intentionally small—strangers arrive, but rarely leave that way.
Beyond the table, The Migratory Plate partners with brands, museums, and organizations working in migration, design, and culture—creating intimate dining experiences that hold space for meaningful conversation, storytelling, and exchange.
